Leaf Springs and Custom U-bolts
All leafs springs and u-bolts can be made to your specific request. We pride ourselves in being able to make you that hard to find leaf spring that you have always looked for, no longer do you need to abandon your projects because you can't find the right spring. So what kind of material do we use in our springs? When it comes to springs we only sell and use the best, our leaves and u-bolt rods are supplied to us from Standens limited, where all there products are tested and put through the most strenuous test. There products are built to OEM, ISO, and military quality standards. Therefore when our products leave the shop they are shipped out military quality.

The Process of Making a Leaf Spring Our in house warehouse gives us the flexibility to make any size spring or any u-bolt that you desire. When an order is placed for a custom spring the right material is picked out. The measurements are then made to see how much of the steel bar will be used, if any cuts will be made and where to bend the bar if needed. After the main leaf is formed, more leafs are made to make up the spring, these springs are assembled underneath the main and are backbone of the spring.

When the drill holes are centred a centre pin is placed through the spring pack. The pack is next compressed with the hydraulic table, the pack is then lastly tightened up with a 1/2 air gun to its specific torque. The centre pin is cut off and the spring is then ready to be painted. Lastly select the colour that you would like the spring to be painted. Ask about the many colours we offer. U-bolts can be made to any specification that you require. From 7/16 to 1 1/4 inches we can make any size u-bolt you desire. Selecting the rod with the right width, length and thread that you need is the first task. We then measure to the centre of the rod, pick out the correct die and form the u-bolt. Immediately after words we can paint your u-bolt any colour or leave it as the greyed material.
